How Many Skins Does Lux Have

Ask Riot: Another Lux Pare?
Why do some champs get and then many skins? Why not have a galaxy every round of TFT? Why's my MMR suck?
Welcome to Ask Riot!
This calendar week, we're talking about skins for popular champions, galaxies in TFT, and your MMR.
But Kickoff... a message from the editor. If yous have a question for us, please exist sure to ask it! The more questions we become, the better we empathise what you intendance about, then please ship abroad. Nosotros're yet trying to figure out whether Ask Riot will embrace all games in the future, but in the meantime, feel costless to ask us about anything. Now to today'southward answers...
Why do some champions similar lux and kai'sa get so many skins while others like ornn and bard get and then few or even none?
Nosotros oftentimes prioritize skins for our most popular champions, like Lux and Kai'Sa, considering they accomplish a huge number of players. Not only does this mean nosotros tin delight a lot of people at one time, merely it also directly funds our power to make skins for champs with small-but-dedicated playerbases. The often unspoken real talk is that… yes, nosotros are a business, and we desire to continue supporting League with new features and content through the years to come up. Creating skins for pop champions allows u.s.a. to do so, in addition to helping to fund things beyond the game, like the upcoming animated series Cabalistic.
Reasons aside, we concord that it sucks to have to wait years for a skin for your favorite champion, so at the start of this year we promised that we'd be stepping up the number of skins nosotros transport in 2020.
With those actress skins, we're going to hit a lot of the champions who haven't seen skins for a while. And then far, nosotros've appear skins this year for: Skarner, Xerath, Mordekaiser, Kindred, Rek'Sai, Vel'Koz, Karthus, Sion, Twitch, Taric, Pantheon, Nautilus, Trundle, Bard, Ornn, and Taliyah. That list isn't exhaustive, though, and so don't take the absenteeism of your master'south name to mean you definitely won't become a pare. Olaf, Zyra, and Renekton weren't on the listing, and we hope to surprise you with more as time passes.
On a whole, our promise is to increase the number of skins we make over time, so that champion mains can count the fourth dimension since they terminal got a skin in months instead of years.
And as to Ornn and Bard specifically… nosotros've recently previewed skins for both of them that volition be released later this twelvemonth! Here are the concepts, in example y'all missed 'em. (And if you'd like to see a preview of Pool Party Taliyah, head over to our most recent Anarchism Pls.)

I have been playing LoL for more than iv years and information technology gives me a lot of fun. But since last season, my MMR is donkey… I win at 17 LP and lose at -20LP. How can I modify this.
The short reply: Keep winning.
The goal of the ranking system isn't to just motion people upwards consistently—it'due south to try and become you to a rank that accurately represents your skill. That means that the climb gets harder as you lot get to higher ranks, both because those ranks are tougher and because your rank is getting closer and closer to your bodily skill level. When the amount you proceeds on a win is about the same as the amount you proceeds on a loss, that ways you're pretty much at the rank the arrangement expects for you.
That doesn't mean you've hit your peak and can't climb any more, but information technology does mean that to continue climbing, you have to perform improve than nosotros'd expect. The more you lot win, the more than our estimation of your skill will rise, and the more your rank will increase.

I love the galaxies feature. But, why not have a galaxy for every round of TFT? It seems like I'm playing more than normal games than milky way games.
There are several reasons.
Many galaxies are cool because of novelty more than depth. Lilac Nebula stands out the first time you play it, just it might not hold up the 20th time as you lot've more than or less figured out how to approach that showtime carousel and build a comp around it. When there were few galaxies in the pool, we had to keep the odds of rolling a normal game higher in club to limit repetition.
Additionally, we want to proceed touch with the base game—many galaxies distort the game in quite dramatic means, but if you play them repeatedly, they can become the default expectation for what a game of TFT feels similar. This results in the galaxies feeling less special and could risk making the normal game experience less interesting.
That said, we've been ramping up the odds of rolling a galaxy over time as we add more than of them. It's now at 65% for patch x.9 (up from 47.5%), and volition continue to increase over the adjacent couple patches. We intend normal games to remain the single well-nigh common variant and something you go along to experience reasonably often, but with the expanded puddle of galaxies, nosotros don't need them to make up most of your games anymore.
